I guess its age but this year it seems so much more to do getting the house and bus ready for the annual winter trip south. Of course this year we have had so many mitigating circumstances to deal with. First the summer and fall trial with my eye. Then the stroke Lynda's Mum had that is still hanging over us, though for now She seems improved. The month delay has left us trying to heat this old drafty house with expensive propane and a wood stove that is quite past its prime. That coupled with unusually fridged weather with snow and high winds at times. A positive stroke to the winds was that a huge part of a dead hard wood tree came down that I cut up and burned in the stove keeping us warm for a few days. We now know next year to either sell this place or install new heat, which type I drive Lynda crazy trying to decide. She is remarkably hard worker that Lady. Tending to things needed done like trash and recyclables to the dump and now her part of the enormous transition to the move south, plus so much more. I am so lucky to have such a mate.
